Details of this project
Joanne, an English teacher, approached me about creating a website to promote her one-on-one lessons. During our discussion, we emphasised the importance of the site reflecting her vibrant personality. We recognized that for individual classes to be successful, there needs to be a strong rapport between teacher and student.
Given Joanne’s colourful character, infectious happiness, and passion for scrapbooking, we decided to incorporate these elements into her website design. To showcase her creativity and provide value to visitors, we chose to feature numerous English learning tips throughout the site.
The “About” page became the perfect canvas to bring all these aspects together. Here, we could paint a vivid picture of Joanne’s teaching style, share her interests, and offer a taste of her unique approach to English instruction. This strategy not only highlights Joanne’s expertise but also gives potential students a genuine sense of who she is, helping them determine if she’s the right fit for their learning needs.
